Witam, dziś instalowałem jakieś aktualizacje do x.orga, i wszystko działało dobrze, po powrocie z uczelni i uruchomieniu pcta, przestały działać dekoracje okien emerald, wszelkie wodotryski, typu falowanie okien itd. nie działa. Nie wiem co może być tym spowodowane, czyżby to była wina aktualizacji dzisiejszych? Z Góry dzięki za pomoc.

Karta grafiki Nvidia geforce 7600GS, Nvidia Driver Version: 295.53. Aktualizowałem między innymi xorga bo wyświetlił się komunikat że są nowe aktualizacje więc zaaktualizowałem, a tutaj teraz takie zaskoczenie.

Jak instalowane sterowniki, jaka wersja systemu, co aktualizowało się?

Dodam że z Sterownikami dawno nic nie robiłem , system zainstalowane stery miał jakoś z 2 lata temu.
Sterowniki ręcznie były instalowane o ile dobrze pamiętam.. bo z repozytoriów nie powiodła się instalacja.

Patrząc na te logi to chyba z tymi sterami nie ma tak źle, gorzej sprawa wygląda gdy wpisałem komendę Jacekalexa.

Właśnie chciałem dać apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r`
i wyskoczył komunikat: linux-headers-2.6.32-5-686 jest już w najnowszej wersji.
0 aktualizowanych, 0 nowo instalowanych, 0 usuwanych i 0 nieaktualizowanych.

O kurcze no to faktycznie nie ciekawa sytuacja. Czyli co same stery do nvidii przeinstalować czy xorg.conf też usunąć?

Możesz usunąć i wygenerować nowy.
Chyba, że masz tam jakieś swoje dodatkowe opcje to zrób sobie kopię.

Usunąłem xorga( o dziwo nie musiałem teraz go ręcznie konfigurować dla odpowiedzniej rozdzielczości monitora :o ) wstawiłem czysty, zainstalowałem nowe sterowniki nvidii.
